2009 Trips
Yunnan, China End of March 2009 Contact Peter Yorgin, MD pyorgin@llu.edu or Andy Hopper, MD ahopper@llu.edu Tentative plans have a Christian team going to Kunming to teach/learn at the First Affiliated Hospital and to either Zhongdian or Mengzi or a site near the Burmese boarder to teach village doctors and nurses. Our goal is to provide residents with other team trip options. Some of these trips will not be approved by the Loma Linda University Housestaff office. These organizations have a reputation being well organized, take appropriate safety precautions and have physicians who can provide appropriate oversight for a resident. The spiritual/evangelical component for these trips can vary. Please contact the trip organizers for more information.

Mexican Medical Ministries Weekend Teams are organized in order to bring health care and evangelism to the people of Mexico while working alongside local Mexicans. Flights leave from the Corona airport. Using a holistic approach, Mexican Medical Ministries often uses a Health Fair format includes activities that fall under three categories: health screening, health education, and evangelism.
